Since being proclaimed America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital in October 2012, Sacramento has really had the opportunity to share with the world the farm-to-fork culture locals have been living and enjoying for years. The region is home to nearly 8,000 boutique farms and the largest Certified Farmers Market in California. As a result, local restaurants regularly feature local produce, meat, fish and dairy products on their menus each and every season.

While this agricultural abundance is available to us all year-long, September is Sacramento’s month of celebration. The region comes together and offers the community a variety of events highlighting the bounty that is available to us.
